Programmes

At the Institute of Water Conservation, we combine community engagement, scientific expertise, and practical solutions. Our programmes are designed to address immediate challenges while building long-term water security.

Awareness & Education

We engage schools, villages, and urban communities through workshops, campaigns, and outreach activities. These programmes encourage simple yet powerful changes in daily life — from water-saving habits to community-led conservation initiatives.

Training & Capacity Building

Our training spans two levels:
This dual approach ensures that both grassroots actors and technical professionals are empowered to contribute to water security.

Research & Knowledge Sharing

We conduct applied research in groundwater, rainwater harvesting, recharge methods, and sustainable resource management. Our insights are shared openly with communities, policymakers, and partners, ensuring that knowledge translates into action on the ground.

Advocacy & Policy Engagement

Through conferences, forums, and collaborative platforms, we bring together communities, experts, and policymakers. We advocate for stronger governance, equitable access to water, and policies that integrate both traditional practices and modern science.

Infrastructure & Innovation

We support the design and construction of practical water infrastructure. This includes rainwater harvesting systems, recharge wells, community storage solutions, and the revival of traditional water bodies. By combining innovation with local wisdom, we create lasting impact that improves both livelihoods and ecosystems.
